Graduated in Veterinary Medicine, he has over 25 years of experience in Public Relations and Public Affairs activities in the healthcare arena with a sound expertise in corporate and marketing communication, media relations, public affairs and crisis management. He has supervised some of the major mergers and integrations between pharmaceutical companies in Italy.
He established HealthCom Consulting, consultancy specialized in Healthcare Communication and Health Policy in 2005, following a long and fruitful professional career in the major international PR firms: Burson-Marsteller, Edelman, Fleishman-Hillard, Hill & Knowlton, Ketchum PR. He has also been coordinator of the scientific communication affairs for the EU campaign to promote the consumption of olive oil in the 15 EU countries (1999-2002).
He holds the positions of PR & PA Director for the Italian Obesity Association (SIO), the Associazione Medici Diabetologi (AMD, the Italian Diabetology Association), and the Sindacato Medici Pediatri di Famiglia (SiMPeF, the association of the general pediatricians) and advises clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, medical associations, patient advocacies, healthcare public and private organizations.
In Healthcom Consulting since 2015, he is the person in charge of developing new initiatives expecially in training and cross-media and television communication. He is also board member of the Consortium «Campus Multimedia In-Formazione» and member of the Operating Committee of the Master in Journalism, both programs carried on by IULM University (Milan). He’s lawyer and has gained 26 years of experience in the field of communication in the Mediaset Group on various roles: since 2001 responsible of Group Privacy Management System; since 2004 General Director of the Consortium «Campus Multimedia In-Formazione» by MEDIASET and IULM, center of excellence for media, communications and digital economy training; In 2008, he worked as project leader of an experimental channel specifical for health professionals on digital terrestrial television and as contact person for Mediaset publishing initiatives in health and wellness areas.
Journalist, she started her career in Lepetit Dow Chemical in early '80s, and then moved to International consultancies as Science & Medicine, Edelman Public Relations, and Hill & Knowlton.
During her more than 20-year-long professional activity she specialized in pharmaceuticals (Rx, OTC, medical device, diagnostics), cosmetics (UNIPRO - Italian Cosmetic Industry Association, L'Oréal, Vichy, La Roche-Posay), and nutrition (P&G, Pringles, Red Bull, Kellogg's, International Obesity Task Force).
From 2005 to 2009 she was Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Nerviano Medical Sciences, the most important oncology research centre in Italy. She joined HealthCom Consulting in 2010.
From 2010 to 2012 she also worked as Patients' Advocacy Manager in Novartis Oncology further enhancing her expertise in supporting Ngo's and Patients' Associations as APMAR, the Association of Persons with Rheumatic Diseases.
